Pictured below is a Caterpillar 3412b, rated 475 hp @ 1200 rpm.  It was built in 2009 by Kenny with IPD parts, including pistons, rings, rod and main bearing, valves and springs and seal kit.  The radiator core is new.  (Cat dealership people call it a “level 9 overhaul”, whatever that means).  Kenny is a 30 year Cat engine building veteran. $48,000.
