This is my beautiful wife, Samantha (Wimberley) Leverett.  She is a home-grown native Odessan.  She is a 2nd grade school teacher here in Odessa.  Mike and Christy Hickman are her parents.  She is a third generation school teacher.  Her mother Christy, is also a 2nd grade school teacher in Odessa.  Her grandparents are Sam and Denise Meador who both taught shool in Odessa and are now retired and livin’ the good life.  I cannot imagine what this girl was thinking (much less her parents) when she decided to marry some divorced dude with four kids, but I’m so glad she did.  I am constantly amazed and humbled at how a perfect family can come out of imperfect situations.  All I can say is God is good.
